You rarely find a spin-off game that matches its TV counterpart so perfectly! Deal or No Deal is one of those slot games that is not only brilliantly designed, but also loads of fun to play – so much so that you’ll find yourself coming back to it time and time again.
Featuring 5 reels and 20 paylines, the Deal or No Deal slot game is just like the show, only there’s no Noel Edmonds stalking the floor – instead it’s just you and your PC or mobile device spinning the reels away for a nice jackpot. The entire browser has been designed to mimic the TV show – even the wooden frame of the browser makes you feel like you’re actually playing live in a studio!
Deal or No Deal has the usual staple of Wilds and Scatters, but there are also three interesting bonus rounds and three massive progressive jackpots that can be won! So you’ll always find yourself walking away with some money when you play this game. For more game show treats you may like the Price is Right.
How to Play
Bets can be set as low as 0.01 pence or as high as £5.00. Players can alter the number of lines and the wager being made on those lines by using the left and right arrows next to the corresponding options to increase or decrease the amounts. When you’re ready to begin just hit ‘Spin’. For those that prefer a more hands off approach to their gaming, there’s a helpful ‘Auto Play’ function that will run the reels for a set number of turns or until a bonus is activated.
Wilds in this game are represented by the Deal or No Deal logo in bright neon, so it’s not hard to miss. The Wilds serve to substitute for other symbols in your winning combination; however they can’t replace the Scatter. Wilds can also double your winning combination payouts.
A nice addition to this game are the three unique bonus rounds. These are activated at random by getting 3, 4 or 5 of the Scatter symbols on the reels. The Scatters are represented by the Bankers telephone and can also provide a nice little boost to your winning combinations (when you get less than 3 of them to appear).
First up is the Deal or No Deal Jackpot, this is unlocked at random when you play all 20 paylines. The jackpot amount you can win depends on the original stake being made, so the higher the stake the larger the jackpot. This feature behaves just like the show would – you’re presented with a series of boxes that you open one by one, and each one you open will be removed from the board. After 6 boxes are opened, you’ll receive a call from the banker, at which point you have to decide either to keep going with the boxes or take his deal and run. From there players can continue opening boxes whilst the banker calls another 4 times. After the final offer, players have the option to swap around the final 2 boxes, with the amount in the final box being awarded to the player. If you’ve ever watched the show on TV, you’ll find this extremely easy to follow.
Next up is to the Reel Banker bonus, this is again triggered at random when you get 3 or more of the Scatters on the reels. When it activates, players receive free spins that will continue until the Scatter symbol appears on the third reel again. A nice touch is that all wins are doubled during this round, so you could land yourself a seriously large sum.
Last but not least is the Banker’s bonus: when you get 3 of the now iconic telephones to appear on the reels, the phone will ring and the banker will offer you 10 cash prizes. The goal of this mini-game is to press the ‘Deal’ or ‘No Deal’ button when you think the cash amount being shown is his best offer. For every amount you pass up, it will appear on the small table to the left of the screen where the rest of your previous offers are. You may walk away with £80 or just £1, it’s all down to the luck of your guess!
